Study Tours Outside Hong Kong

 

Learning without boundaries

As a common saying goes, "Travelling brings about far greater benefit than mere book learning." Travelling enriches students' knowledge and broaden their horizon. It can also allow students to experience different cultures and social customs for students who can learn communication skills, collaboration skills, problem-solving skills, and be independent. This year, the school had organized the "South Korea: Technology and Cultural Experience Study Tour" and "Whampoa Military Training Camp (4 days)". Different types of study tours are organized as an extension of the school curriculum to lead students to diversified learning.

South Korea: Technology and Cultural Experience Study Tour

  • Visit Gyeongbokgung and Bukchon Hanok Village: To learn about ancient people's way of life and wisdom of life.
  • Study K-POP dance: To recognize the influence of Korean Pop Culture.
  • Try Hanbok and make Kimchi: To learn about the Korean food culture and the significance of traditional Hanbok.
  • Visit Samsung D'light: To Learn about the latest technological developments.
  • Visit Experience Center: To experience the imitation of a disaster by themselves and learn how to cope with a disaster in an exciting way.

Before the Study Tour

  • Students learn some basic knowledge about South Korea through the exhibition board.
  • Information collection: summarize, analyze and organize information collected.

 

Training Camp

Whampoa Military Training Camp (4 days)

  • Foot drill training and combat martial arts training: To stimulate students' will and stamina.
  • Adventure Activity and Cooperative Play: To develop team spirit.
  • Clean-up: to cultivate students' independence.
