The interface between Kindergartens and Primary schools

  1. Parent meetings for new Primary One students and Talks
  • To help parents understand our school policy and students' school life

2.Induction Programme and Training Day for Primary One students

  • In order to prepare students from different aspects to help them move on to primary school life and consolidate their command of Chinese and English Language, our school will organize an Induction Programme for Primary One students during the summer holidays. In this programme, which also helps boost pupils' confidence, they will experience the learning of different subjects. They can also learn about the formal learning environment in a primary school and enjoy the fun of going to school through different language activities, group games, and activities to acquire the knowledge and adapt to a new school life faster when the school years starts.

The interface between Primary and Secondary Schools

1.Parents' Talk for Primary Six students

  • Every school year, the school organizes Parents' Talk for Primary Six students on Secondary One Discretionary Places and Central Allocation to provide parents with individualized information and Choice of Secondary Schools.

2.Secondary School Visits

  • The school arranges Secondary School Visits for Primary Six students to enhance their knowledge of secondary schools' learning environment and school life.

3.Talks on Interview Skills

  • We will invite the heads of neighbouring secondary schools to give lectures on interview skills that provide students and parents with the most updated information and dos and don’ts.

4.Mock Interviews

  • To help students prepare for the secondary school interviews in the Discretionary Places stage and improve their interview skills, teachers and school-based speech therapists will conduct "Intensified Training for Secondary School Interviews" and "Mock Interviews" for all Primary Six students every year. We hope to improve their presentation and communication skills through these activities.
